Welcome to MashalCareers.com, a trading name used by TalentStore Digital Limited, a company registered in Scotland. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you and TalentStore Digital Limited.
Your career history belongs to you. Our role is simply to help you polish it.
User Content: You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the CVs, documents, and personal data you upload.
The Output: You own the copyright to the specific tailored CVs generated by our service. You are free to use these for any personal job application.
Our Licence to Use Your Content: To provide the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your data. This is strictly for the purpose of providing advice. We do not claim ownership of your professional history.
To ensure our service remains fast and affordable for all genuine job seekers, we enforce the following:
Personal Use Only: You must not upload or submit any personal data belonging to another person, even if you have their permission (for example, a friend's CV, a client's CV, or a candidate's CV). The Service is intended for individual personal use unless we have agreed a separate written business arrangement with you. Use by recruitment agencies, "CV writing factories," or for commercial resale is strictly prohibited.
Usage Thresholds: We operate a "fair use" policy. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exhibit "non-human" behaviour or exceed reasonable usage limits (e.g., generating 50+ CVs in 24 hours).
No Deception: You must not use the Service to create, encourage, or support deception or fraud (for example, fabricating qualifications, employment history, references, or achievements). You are responsible for ensuring anything you use from the Service is truthful and accurate.
Rights and Compliance: You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights (including copyright, confidentiality, or trade secrets) or that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
Prohibited Technical and Abusive Behaviour: You must not:
Enforcement: If we reasonably believe you have breached this section, we may suspend or terminate your account and/or restrict access to the Service.
If you purchase a paid subscription or one-off service, pricing and billing terms will be shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you may have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for distance contracts. Where you request immediate performance of a service or immediate supply of digital content, you may be asked to acknowledge that your cancellation right may be affected once performance begins or digital content is supplied.
AI Limitations: AI can occasionally "hallucinate" or produce factual inaccuracies. It is your sole responsibility to verify the accuracy of the final CV before submission.
No Guarantee: We do not guarantee job interviews or offers as a result of using this service.
Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, as required by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:
Loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or opportunity; or
Indirect or consequential loss.
Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where unlawful.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that:
Outputs will be accurate or error-free.
The Service will meet your requirements; or
Using Outputs will lead to any specific outcome.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and may update these Terms from time to time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. The courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, except that nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
If you have a complaint, contact hello@mashalcareers.com and we will try to resolve it promptly.
If your complaint relates to personal data, you may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
